Synopsis
A small ritual. An impossible drive.
Short synopsis
After his mother’s funeral, a grieving man tries to reach the overlook where they once ate ice cream together. A routine traffic stop becomes the moment he can no longer keep moving.
Full synopsis
Still dressed for his mother’s funeral, a man leaves an ice cream stand carrying the soft-serve cone that recalls a ritual they shared when he was a child. He races toward their old overlook while the cone melts across his hand and designer suit. Traffic builds. The GPS counts down. He keeps going.
When a police officer pulls him over and asks for his license and registration, the ordinary exchange opens everything he has tried to contain. Ice Cream Tears is a 158-second drama about memory, masculinity, and the point where composure finally gives way.
